Fans walk onto the pitch at BF to press for refunds

THE suspended Zimbabwe Football Association board has hit back at the Sports and Recreation Commission (SRC) by reportedly withdrawing match officials from Castle Premier Soccer League matches which were scheduled for today.

Reports from venues across the country confirm that no referees have been availed for PSL matches and while clubs have been on the field warming-up there has been no sign of the match officials. Speculation is rife that the decision by Zifa was designed to hit back at the SC for suspending the board.

At Barbourfields Stadium in Bulawayo, fans have walked onto the field and are headed towards the cash office to press for refunds.
