Joel Lupahlahla’s side showed their intentions and ambition for promotion into the Castle Premier Soccer League beating stuttering promotion rivals Black Mambas 2-1 to claim their second NRSL victory in three outings.

The defeat leaves Mambas a distant 9th after three rounds of matches with one victory and two losses while Eagles are level with leaders Herentals but have played one more game.

Seventh-placed Trojan finally conjured a victory after they edged Banket United 2-1 at home.

Kadoma-based Golden Valley were bog winners walloping a hapless Harare City Cubs U/19 side 5-1 to also record their first win of the season.
