LWENDULU Village idols, Iwisa FC continued to underline their dominance of the Zifa Matabeleland North Division Two A League with another stellar display at Makwika Stadium at the weekend with a 3-1 triumph over Makwika Classic.

Ten games into the race the Number One Village lads are unbeaten and just conceded their fourth goal at the weekend.

Iwisa started the match on the offensive forcing anxious moments for the hosts with a goalbound effort cleared off the line by Thandazani Sibanda.

As action swung from one end to the other, goalmouth action was witnessed.

Veteran Gilbert Zulu came close before Freeman Nyoni who made no mistake beating Eric Nyathi in goal.
Zulu made it 2-0 benefitting from a Tonisani Sibelo beauty of a cross.

Sibelo was back to haunt the hosts creating another goal finished off by Desire Sibanda.
Five minutes later Brian “Vidal” Dube pulled one back for the Number Three (3) side.

The match was played before a capacity crowd
and saw Makwika Classics slump to a second defeat in the race while Iwisa made it 10 wins on the trot.

“It’s still game on,” said Iwisa co-coach Thembinkosi Rendo.
