IWISA FC return to what was once a favourite hunting ground for the original side formed in the 1980s when they take on DRC United at Old Ground this Sunday.

The log leaders, 4-0 victors over Lukosi Pirates last weekend will be hoping to make it three out of three in the just formed ZIFA Matabeleland North Division Two A League.

Their opponents have so far managed a solitary point for their 11th position on the log of the 16-team log.

Coached by Borniface Ndlovu and Thembinkosi Rendo, Iwisa are fighting for decades long bragging rights among the Hwange teams where Lwendulu Village has for the better part of the history of the game at the coal mining town fought fiercely with Makwika.
In day gone by, Rufaro Rovers and Iwisa proved worthy representatives dominating the local league and producing some remarkable talent some of which like David Zulu (Rufaro Rovers) who was a history maker by being part of the first Young Warriors side in 1980. He crowned his legendary status with the Cecafa Cup triumph in 1985 while turning out for the Zimbabwe senior national team.

Since then dozens of players have emerged from Lwendulu Village to be the backbone of Hwange Football Club.
Makwika represented in the past by Brazil and Kabwe Warriors, has had a fair share of stars coming through.

With experienced players like Alec Marime, Tonisani Sibelo and the never aging Gilbert Zulu, the young trio of Mavuto Ngwenya, Proud Richards and Cleopas Kasongola, have coaches on the field to guide them as they do business as the club fights for the ticket to the Zifa Southern Region League.
Austin Nsingo is expected to play a pivotal role in Ingagula FC’s clash with Madumabisa Kidsnet at Chakona Stadium at JTL.
