AMBITIOUS Castle Premier Soccer League side Bulawayo Chiefs have revealed that they have ambitions to dress school teams across the country.

Chiefs became the first club to create their own kit brand which is named after their nickname, Amakhosi Amahle.

Amakhosi are on record saying their growing fan base inspired them to establish their own brand which they hope will become popular.

The club’s spokesperson Thulani “Javas” Sibanda told B-Metro Sport that Zifa Central Region Division One side Filabusi United recently became the first external team to have their kits done by Amakhosi Wear.

“Filabusi United became the first external team to have their match kits done by Amakhosi Wear, the brand of Bulawayo Chiefs. The dream is to dress the school teams across the country,” said Sibanda.

He added: “For growth purposes, we decided to create our own Amakhosi sportswear. Its local and its lekker. Over the years, the Chiefs brand has grown and this is the time to move with the growth.”

Chiefs’ Amakhosi Wear branded kit followed that of Highlanders and Dynamos, who entered into a partnership with On The Ball (OTB) through their Looks brand while Ngezi Platinum Stars unveiled their Umbro branded kit.
