GLOW Petroleum finished the season on a high after securing a 42-40 win over ZRP Mambas on Saturday in the Rainbow Amateur Netball League (RANL).
Coach Perpetua Siyachitema admitted that the game against Mambas was a tough one.
Glow Petroleum got their revenge over Mambas following a 27-24 defeat in October.
Although they won, Siyachitema wasn’t pleased with the performance of some players.
“I was disappointed with my shooters. I was expecting that my shooters were going to play according to instruction, but they failed. I had to take my goal attacker back to her usual position. I was also not happy with the level of officiating, it was very poor,” she
said.
She said Glow Petroleum would not go on holiday despite the league having run its course, they will start preparing for next season.
“Definitely, I will start preparing for next season because if you notice, most of the players, I think it is due to COVID-19 restrictions, they have put on some weight so I need to work on their fitness and endurance,” Siyachitema said.
